Kevin Culpepper, a resident of Lanexa, Virginia, choose to install a solar panel system with the primary
goal of achieving energy self-sufficiency for his home. His electricity is supplied by Dominion Energy, which offers a credit for each kilowatt-hour (kWh) of solar power generated and sold back to the utility.
Kevin aimed to capitalize on this opportunity by implementing a system that would produce solar energy
for his home’s consumption, with any surplus being sold back to Dominion Energy
