Posted on ChrisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. In late October, after a delay beyond my control, I obtained 3 bids for a solar system in an attempt to meet the Dec 31 tax credit deadline. I'm an engineer with professional registration in 11 states, and have led many major projects around the world; I did not really believe it could be done. Sierra, the lead contact with CosmoSolaris, provided the most complete bid with high-quality equipment at a reasonable cost. Sierra was very pleasant to work with, and extremely prompt in replying to my requests and possible options. She was very knowledgeable and cognizant of the need for an efficient time schedule. She scheduled the site inspector for the next day, a Saturday. After a couple of discussions regarding less than optimum roof angles and winter tree shading with Martin, the lead designer and Project Manager, the revised model design was completed. I agreed with Sierra on the Final Agreement (she gave, and kept her word on a key final term that I was concerned with), and the install race was on. Cosmo submitted the final designs and obtained County permit approval extremely quickly (from experience, I know that is not always easy), and scheduled installation. I quickly replaced the marginal roof section, and their team installed the entire system on one mid December day, dodging snow and freezing temperatures elsewhere in the East. I can just imagine the challenges the Cosmo teams had with numerous system installs in progress simultaneously, all with the same deadline, the two major holidays, and the lousy polar vortex weather occurring across the country. The final County electrical inspection took literally one minute, since the high-quality install was evident, and the County's "Final Passed" document and the verification from Martin were both in my inbox in less than a half hour. The deadline was easily met! A couple days later (not the anticipated month), the utility granted approval to activate the system. I threw the switch on the morning of Dec 31! It has been interesting and exciting watching the blue graph of the Enphase app showing power generation, even on cloudy days! I don't know all the players on the Cosmo team, but the behind the scenes organization and efficiency was obvious, as the County, Utility, Enphase software, PJM, GATS, accounting, and tax form paperwork and approvals seem to just appear in my inbox - almost completely filled out with minimal for me to do. There are only a couple remaining minor tasks to complete. I am very happy to have become my own little home power plant, with top-of-the-line panels and microinverters, all designed and installed in record time. CosmoSolaris was up for the challenge and met the tax deadline. Thank you all !Posted on Victor FreemanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We just got our solar panel installation completed, and we are very pleased with the entire process. Cosmo Solaris offered a competitive system price--- AND they answered ALL of my 100’s of questions BEFORE I signed on with them…! Sierra was my main point of contact, and she professionally shepherded us through the process from start to finish. She was great to work with and very knowledgeable. And I appreciated how she gave me the opportunity to earn referral bonuses...! Also, I needed a new roof, and they found me a high-quality, experienced roofing group that did a great job and at a very reasonable price. After installation, I am now able to monitor my solar panel’s energy output via a phone app--- And I’m looking for to the long summer days, where my panels will be earning me major solar energy credits…!Posted on Vishal GoelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently used Solaris to install our solar panels. Installation went fine they took care of the design, paperwork, approvals, visits on a timely fashion. I was impressed by their communication. Great work so far.Posted on David ConvayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. So I been thinkin about solar for long time. My bills was crazy high. I talk to a few companys but they all felt pushy or not clear. Then my neighbor say try Cosmo Solaris. I call them, they was super nice on phone. Came to my house, explained stuff simple so I get it. No big sales pitch, just facts. Install crew came on time, even cleaned up after. Panels look good, wires neat. Took like 2 days. Been 3 months now, my bill went from $180 to like $20. Feels good see that.Posted on Jefferson PhamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was looking for a company to install solar on my home, so I used EnergySage. Sierra reached out to me pretty quickly and was really flexible with scheduling meetings after I got off work and on the weekends. She was quick to follow up on my technical questions and gave me a custom design quotes including the Span panel. Overall the process to get started was stress free and I would definitely recommend working with Sierra.Posted on noordinaryjoesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great guarantees with this professional outfit. Our system was installed, up, running and interconnected in a timely manner. We appreciated that they incentivize themselves to stay on schedule with the “we will start paying your electric bill if you’re not done in 10 weeks” promise. Top quality components were utilized and it all looks very tidy and professional. Their time of arrival estimates for deliveries and installation dates were pretty far off, but they did show up on the days they scheduled and the end result was a quality installation done in a timely fashion. Mike and his team were readily available to answer any and all questions so we knew exactly what to expect.Posted on Sangeet ChowflaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The solar installation went perfectly and on time. The panels are already producing and my electricity bill last month was a negative amount!! Mike and his team were very responsive to all my requests and helped through the entire permitting and utility approval process so that I could get my net metering credits. I am already thinking of expanding the system and using Cosmo Solar again.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Understanding Arizona Net Metering & Buyback Plans
While Arizona does not have a statewide mandated net metering law, many utility providers offer excellent credits for the excess energy your solar panels in Arizona produce. We work with providers such as Salt River Project (SRP), Arizona Public Service (APS), Tucson Electric Power (TEP), and others in the state.
Common Arizona Buyback Plans:
- Uncapped Credit Plans: Receive credit for 100% of your excess production.
- Capped Credit Plans: Credits are capped at your monthly consumption level.
- Real-Time Buyback: Credits are based on real-time market prices (perfect for battery owners).
- Value of Solar (VOS): Fixed rates determined by the utility’s specific solar valuation.
Arizona Incentives: Property Tax Exemptions & Solar Rights
Property Tax Exemption: In Arizona, installing solar increases your home’s value, but thanks to the Renewable Energy Tax Credit, your property taxes will not increase because of your solar system.
Solar Rights Law: Don’t let your HOA say no. Arizona law protects your right to install solar panels, ensuring HOAs cannot arbitrarily block your transition to clean energy.
